Falling Forward in Your Squat? Let’s Fix it!
Why is this important?
You want the barbell to be over your mid foot- heel. If the bar is falling forward, it increases the angular motion on your joints to hit your depth.
That’s fancy talk for:
You lose leverage, power, + you’re most susceptible to injury- no thanks 🙅🏽♀️
S w i p e to see an amazing exercise to help correct this!
// only use the bar, don’t load //
You want to squat outside of a standard power rack, but you don’t want your barbell to slide with the cage, making it fixed like a Smith Machine.
Unfortunately that won’t transfer over to the barbell back squat- you need to be able to balance without the assistance!
The squat rack is there to G U I D E the bar!
Play a little game of operation + try not to touch the squat cage 😈⚡️
This exercise will help you learn how to drive through your heels! And how to stay in alignment ✨
